The distilled shochu Aka Kirishima is brewed using water from the Kirishima Rekkasui spring, which flows from 150 meters underground at the foot of the Kirishima mountain range, and Murasaki Masari sweet potatoes grown on the Shirasu Plateau in southern Kyushu. It is characterized by its lingering sweetness and elegant scent.
